As the Controller at Watermark Companies, Tessa guides the operations of the entire accounting department.

Tessa has worked in accounting for 20 years with 15 of those years being in the construction industry. She brings strong knowledge and skills in accounting software, processes, and efficiencies. Early on in her career, she worked at KLB Construction – a heavy highway and utility construction company in Washington State. Before moving to Denver in 2017, she began working as a Senior Construction Accountant for Cortland Partners – a national multifamily property management group. Once in Denver, she moved up to an Accounting Manager at Laramar Group, another well-known multifamily property management group.

When Tessa is not working, she enjoys being outside in the beautiful Colorado weather with her husband and two boys. They love playing baseball during the spring & summer, skiing in the winter, and lounging by sandy beaches or pools during the summer.
