Jennings partners with Watermark and serves as General Counsel where he strives to add value to the Watermark team and our investor partners as we lead the future of housing in forging the new American Dream and execute on being the premier build-to-rent developer of singly family houses in the United States.
In his work at Watermark, Jennings draws upon a varied background including: serving as an officer in the United States Army, working in the logistics industry, clerking for a federal judge, practicing law in private practice, and serving as an executive and business leader, leading and scaling privately held companies.
Prior to and concurrently with his work at Watermark, Jennings led the successful growth and exit of privately held companies, with exit multiples ranging from 15 to 20 times EBITDA, where he designed and implemented strategies and processes for profitable business growth, created and led the corporate development and strategy team, served as a director and the corporate secretary, and provided counsel for the companies and their boards on all legal matters.
